Farsound Aviation, a global provider of supply chain and logistics solutions for the aerospace industry, is experiencing a significant growth in demand, particularly in the Asia and Middle East markets.
The MRO sector continues to perform strongly and Farsound is consolidating its position as the supply chain provider of choice across an expanding range of engine platforms, including the GE Aviation GE90 and GneX, Pratt & Whitney’s V2500, the CFM 56, and XWB and Trent from Rolls-Royce.
In order to support and further drive this growth, Farsound recently created the new position of Vice President, Business Development Asia, based in Japan, and also appointed a new Business Development Manager in China. Farsound consistently achieves 99.5% On-Time-Delivery with its supply solutions to a wide variety of global customers, and the recruitment of these additional people will further cement this market leading level of supply chain capability.
To further raise its profile, the company will be attending a number of key exhibitions and events this year, including MRO Middle East which is being held in Dubai on 8th and 9th February, MRO Asia-Pacific taking place in Singapore from 31st October to 2nd November, and the Dubai Airshow which will run from the 12th to 16th November.
Lee Kelsey, Farsound Aviation’s Sales Director, commented: “This is an excellent time for Farsound Aviation – in the last year, we’ve seen a 25% increase in our turnover and are forecasting similar levels of growth in 2017– we’re particularly excited about the growth of our business globally. In addition to the success we’re enjoying in the Middle East and Asia, we’re also planning to expand further by recruiting a new team in the USA.”
