Farsound has named Jim Berry as its new IT Director. He joined the company at the start of March 2023 and is based in the company’s UK headquarters in Essex.

Jim will oversee IT services and development across all of Farsound’s facilities located in the UK, North America, Spain, Singapore and Japan.

Jim brings to Farsound a wealth of experience and knowledge gleaned from a career spanning more than two decades in big data, serving the global FMCG sector among others. In his role at Farsound, Jim will oversee IT development and connectivity across the entire company.

In addition, Jim will focus on developing customer and supplier interactions and supporting staff with their day-to-day IT operations and requirements. Another key part of his remit as IT Director will involve enhancing Farsound’s bespoke IT system, which was designed in house to support the company’s customers in placing and tracking orders.
